With three little girls, and my own obsession with party planning, we throw a lot of parties around here.

Scarlett, our oldest, has a birthday in July, so summer birthdays have become a definite must to kick off our summers year in and year out.

For our very groovy kids party inspiration roundup, I created a color palette that fit the 70s vibe with a muted rainbow look; especially pulling in yellows, creamsicle orange, and light pink.

Throw in smiley faces, rainbows, peace signs, rollerblades, and daisies, and the hippie vibes are in full swing. Pull in an oversized tent, a checkered rug to lounge on, a giant daisy and roller skate balloon garland, and a mini rainbow donut wall, and the groovy look is complete!
