It’s *finally* warming up ever-so-slightly here in Boston and I’m already dreaming of curling up on our back patio with a good book.
I finally reignited my reading streak (I fell off after the holidays and into the new year with the busy back to real life tidal wave). I devoured Happily Never After by Lynn Painter (in this roundup) and I just finished an advanced copy of This Summer Will Be Different by Carley Fortune (coming out May 7th, 2024 and thought it was SO incredibly good!) I’m now onto the audiobook version of Next of Kin by Hannah Bonam-Young.
10 New Books to Read This Spring
Like any true book fanatic, I of course have a list of spring reading all lined up.
When it comes to compiling my must-read books, I tend to love a mix of romantic comedies, historical fiction, and fantasy. Basically, I love love and a really great story.
A few standouts from this spring’s must-read book list:
Ali Hazelwood, author of the unbelievably popular and wonderful The Love Hypothesis, is trying something new with Bride, a paranormal romance (vampire bride meets alpha werewolf) and I’m totally intrigued and very excited to see what she can do with a totally new genre.
Emily Henry also has a brand spanking new novel, Funny Story, out today and named a most anticipated book of 2024, and I cannot wait to dive into what sounds to be an absolutely charming beach read.
There is also a new Sarah J. Maas book in the Crescent City series, a new historical fantasy by Leigh Bardugo, the new Kristin Hannah book – The Women – that everyone is raving about, a new Tessa Bailey rom com, and so many more amazing books.
Now grab a cup of coffee and a cozy blanket, curl up outside, and dive into one of these must-read books this spring. Then head back to this post, or find me on social media (on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter ), and let me know which book was a standout favorite for you.
