This Valentine’s Day, put together an adorable basket of love for your kids! We’re sharing everything we put in this year’s Valentine’s Day pom pom baskets for our girls, plus a few other affordable surprises to include in your own V-day baskets.
Never one to miss out on a party trend, I am all for these adorable baskets that keep popping up all over Instagram and Pinterest. If Easter can have baskets, why not celebrate the season with baskets for the holidays, Valentine’s Day, and beyond?
Naturally, I set out to make our own adorable Valentine’s Day baskets for the kids, and I have a feeling the minute they see these colorful pom pom baskets they’re going to flip. 🥰
Pom Pom Valentine’s Day Baskets for the Kids
Choosing the Right Basket
For starters, anytime I make a basket of goodies for the kids, I love choosing a basket that they can repurpose to use again and again. For instance, the baskets we used for the girls’ Easter baskets last year are now used as toy food storage in their play kitchen! 🙌🏻
From the moment I spotted these adorable Cloud Island pom pom baskets at Target, I knew that they would be perfect for Valentine’s Day; both because of the pink pom poms and the fact that I knew I could repurpose the baskets as storage in their rooms. How cute would these be on a bedroom or bathroom shelf to hold accessories, bows, and more?
By the way, the basket also comes in a more neutral ombré colorway that is equally adorable. If you’re looking for something a little larger – maybe to use as toy storage later on – this Cloud Island Large Coiled Rush Pom Decorative Basket is so cute and functional!
