Hello, Friday! Somehow we’re nearing the end of February (how is March next week?!) The weather has been beautiful so my guess is we’ll be going on a lot of long walks this weekend. I’ll also probably bake up fresh loaves of challah and try this easy kids science activity for the girls. How about you? Any exciting weekend plans?
In case you don’t yet follow along, I’ll be sharing what we’re up to throughout the weekend over on instagram (lots of fun behind-the-scenes on my insta stories too!), facebook, and twitter. Follow along!
I’ve rounded up some of my favorite links – articles, finds, recipes, sales, what I’m reading, and more – below. Hopefully this will give you a few ideas for the weekend!
With that, a few little love notes to the things I loved most this week …
Dear kicking it old school, in defense of cold-calling your friends. (I actually kind of love this.)
Dear weekend reading, last week I devoured two books – Head Over Heels by Hannah Orenstein and Beginner’s Luck by Kate Clayburn – and this weekend I’m going to dive into an advanced copy of The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren. (Reviews coming soon to our virtual Book Club!)
Dear fashion news, Hatch – everyone’s favorite maternity label (though their designs are meant to be worn pre-AND-post baby) – has finally hit Target shelves! (My guess: these pieces will sell out fast.)
Dear job hunt, here are 8 Virtual job interview tips, according to the experts.
Dear get in my closet, this maxi dress and slip combo is dreamy and so versatile. Love it!
Dear binge-worthy, rumor on the internet is Escape to the Chateau a must-watch. Basically, the show revolves around a couple who purchases an abandoned French chateau and then fixes it up. The show is supposed to be fun, soothing, and the perfect weekend watch.
Dear cozy vibes, speaking of the weekend binge, have you seen Pottery Barn’s Colossal Handknit Throws? These blankets are reminiscent of the super popular chunky knit throw blankets, they’re amazing quality, and bonus: they’re on clearance right now!
Dear good reads, what it was like to eat with Anthony Bourdain.
Dear weekend baking, homemade cosmic brownies.
