We’re officially making our way to our new Boston home this very afternoon, because today is the day!
It’s MOVING DAY!!
And I still can’t believe it. This week has been a whirlwind of packing and coordinating, and listening to the new Taylor Swift album. (Side note: have you heard it? Do you love it? I’m obsessed.)
Of course I’m so ready to be all moved in, even if it does mean we’ll be surrounded by boxes we then have to UNPACK (🙈), but it feels good to finally be at the day we’ve been planning for for months. I’ll even admit, it was nice to have this big, albeit sort of nerve-wracking thing to look forward to in the midst of the pandemic. And now I get to flex my creative design muscle once again and make this place our own.
I’m so excited to share a peek into our moving day and a look at the new place. (We’re walking distance from so many of my favorite spots in Boston!)

Dear future mud room, I have big plans for our upcoming mud room! (We’ve actually never had one!) Starting with a few pretty baskets, like this magazine basket from McGee & Co. (By the way, have you seen the Target x McGee & Co. collabTarget x McGee & Co. collab? It’s all perfection; and sells out way too fast! Though this adorable basket is miraculously still in stock. Might have to snatch a pair of these up!)

Dear weekend reading, I just picked up a copy of the book Love Lettering (named an Amazon Best Romance of the Month, PopSugar Crazy Popular Books of 2020, Top Ten Best Romances of 2019 by Entertainment Weekly – it came out at the end of last year, and SheReads’ Most Anticipated Books of 2020!) And I can’t wait to dive in. Sometimes it feels so good to just read a feel good romance novel, ya know?
Dear summer nights, this darling H&M dress only looks expensive; it’s actually under $20!
Dear green thumb, have you seen Reese Witherspoon’s backyard hack; a.k.a. no construction garden beds? So simple and functional and I love the farmhouse feel.
Dear weekend baking, not that I’ll be baking this weekend, buuuut, salted peanut butter and jelly pie. Umm, yes please.
