Happy Friday!! We’re currently in Chicago for a medical conference that hubby is attending (and presenting a poster at!) This is our second time in Chicago in the last couple of months and I’ve totally been charmed by this city. This time around, we’re staying right by Millenium Park, so we’ve had a great time taking advantage of the nearby museums. So far we’ve done Shedd Aquarium and The Field Museum, and if you head over to my instagram you might still be able to catch our stories. I promise to keep on sharing plenty of fun snaps and stories along the way – we’re here through Sunday – so definitely stay tuned on on instagram, plus plenty of posts over on facebook and twitter too. Follow along! How about you? Any exciting weekend plans?
With that, a few little love notes to the things I loved most this week …
1- Dear Instagram crushing, you must, must, must follow @saramueller. Her dreamy snaps share a glimpse at Miami, making me all sentimental for home, her color palette – soft pastels, beautiful travel shots, and the throwback vibes through all of her photos, makes for one gorgeous Instagram feed.
2- Dear DIY’s to try, this speckled placemat looks simple enough to make and the end result is so adorable.
3- Dear form meets function, Instagram is changing what our living spaces look like.
4- Dear game-changers, NYT readers submitted the best advice they’ve ever received.
5- Dear Etsy finds, how chic are these hanging woven wall baskets? And they come in an affordable set of 6, all ready to add a totally cool pop to any wall.
6- Dear motivated, why we should all be celebrating our “near wins.”
7- Dear weekend baking, peach upside down mini cakes.
