Happy weekend! It’s shaping up to be a snowy one here in Boston. I’m pretty obsessed with the city when it looks like a winter wonderland, and since we’ve got nowhere to be, I’m pretty psyched for more snow. Mike, on the other hand, is working a weekend shift at the hospital, sooooo I’m pretty glad we invested in snow tires when we first moved here. 🙈
The girls and I have big plans to craft and bake, plus I’m on a serious reading kick; I read an entire book yesterday (This Time Next Year — and I seriously could not put it down; review coming soon!) I also have a few more fun Valentine’s shoots coming up. I just love the season of love. Epic Valentine’s Day dessert board, anyone?
How about you? Any exciting weekend plans?
In case you don’t yet follow along, I’ll be sharing what we’re up to throughout the weekend over on instagram (lots of fun behind-the-scenes on my insta stories too!), facebook, and twitter. Follow along!
Little Love Notes + A Snowy Boston
With that, a few little love notes to the things I loved most this week …
Dear new favorite corners of the internet, have you heard about The Hunt on The New York Times? Basically, you get to tag along on a search for a New York City home; kind of like a ‘This or That’ for properties, and it’s so much fun.
Dear unexpected design, just look at this stunning shed makeover.
Dear must-watch, everyone is talking about the new Framing Britney Spears documentary. And now I feel like I need to watch it.
Dear beauty refresh, Black owned beauty brands to shop now and always.
Dear spring vibes, if this isn’t the prettiest cardigan ever, I’m not sure what is. Goodness, I love this.
Dear memory making in the kitchen, I’m curious, how do you preserve your family recipes? (Most of my favorites are saved right here on this site, and I love that I’m saving something for my own kids in this way!)
Dear kids closet upgrades, these rose gold hangers on Amazon are my new obsession.
Dear Zillow fans, the Schitt’s Creek home is for sale. Ya know, for a cool $11.7 million and 24,000 square feet. 😳
Dear weekend baking, baked feta with tomatoes and chickpeas. Yum. But seriously, Smitten Kitchen can do no wrong.
