Confessions of a Shopaholic: Early Fall Edition

With fall just days away, I thought it was about time I round up a few of the things on my wishlist; a.k.a., the shopaholic confessions – we’ll call this one the Early Fall Edition. I make no secret about fall being my absolute favorite season. The weather is perfect, the recipes are the best (apple and pumpkin everything), and the fashion is on point. I’ve been itching to break out my boots and sweaters all summer long, and weather be darned, I’m going for it.

Though I’m a chronic black-wearer, I’ve warmed to the color brown (you know, it really breaks up an all-black outfit). I have my eye on these “walnut suede” over-the-knee boots (Stuart Weitzman’s are expensive, but worth every penny; I live in mine!) and these adorable tasseled booties. I still can’t get over these giant chunky knit blankets, and though I pretend I could totally DIY my own, I fear that by the time I actually teach myself how to knit, it’ll be summer again.

Karen Walker went and rimmed my favorite sunglasses in gold. Would it be totally weird to buy the nearly identical sunnies just for a bit of glitz? I mean, yeah, duh, it’s weird, but I probably need them. And then of course, there are the Dior sunglasses that every fashion blogger seems to have gotten their hands on. I mean, a girl can dream, right?

H&M has been rocking the biker jacket game lately and I have my eye on this buttery suede version. This sweater is also seriously speaking to me and this knit swing dress has my name all over it. The bows on this dress make this one a favorite as well, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about Mother Denim.

In an attempt to warm up our house for fall and winter, I’m on the hunt for inexpensive runner rugs and I think this rug from Target might be perfect; I love the cream color to brighten up an otherwise dark hallway and it’s affordable so I won’t mind if it gets a lot of foot traffic.

And how cool is this bronzed mini dry erase board?

In the beauty department, I really want to try Dior’s New Diorskin Nude Air Healthy Glow Invisible Powder (it’s getting rave reviews!), Bite Beauty’s lipsticks (love the deep “Tannin” shade!), Bobbi Brown’s shimmery rose blush brick, and a pretty clear pouch to keep everything in. I also recently tried a sample of Tata Harper’s Resurfacing Mask and it made my skin feel like a million bucks.
