Here are the weekly finds that I’m loving this week …
FRENCH CONNECTION Millie Mozart Boatneck Sweater
I love the oversized fit and cropped front hem of this sweater (with a little added length in the back). Sweater perfection. Also available on Amazon and Nordstrom.
My Oxford Year by Julia Whelan
“With My Oxford Year, Julia Whelan has crafted a breathtakingly perfect picture of Oxford…a read bursting with warmth, mirth, and heart. A powerfully heartbreaking and life-affirming tribute to love and to choice – to choosing love and an open-hearted approach to the world.” (Entertainment Weekly, “A” review)
“My Oxford Year is a pure delight with unpredictable depths. Julia Whelan has crafted a story that is as fun and charming as it is powerful and wise. Ella Durran is a breath of fresh air and her story will stay with you long after you’re done.” (Taylor Jenkins Reid, author of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo)
“…Julia Whelan’s My Oxford Year, which unfolds in charming Oxfordshire and reads even better when read through a pair of thick-rimmed glasses.” (Vogue.com)
I’m sold.
H&M Long Wool-Blend Coat
Every once in a while, H&M totally blows me away with a design-forward piece I can’t stop thinking about. This season, it’s this long wool-blend coat. So chic.
MENU Bottle Grinder with Steel Lid, Ash/Carbon, Set of 2
Though they’re a little bit pricey, I love the idea of adding a more modern, sleek, design-forward look to my plain old salt and pepper containers. There are also several color options, including a really pretty nude and blush combo.
Loeffler Randall Gia Tall Boots
Loeffler Randall makes some of my absolute most favorite shoes. They’re designed beautiful, are always comfortable, and last. I love the lower stacked heel on these boots, plus the width, and that gorgeous cognac color; though I’ll admit, the black is equally beautiful and so versatile.
Yves Saint Laurent Beaute Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick
This new YSL lipstick is getting rave reviews, and I cannot wait to try it. I loooooooove their lipstick. Dubbed the ultimate matte lipstick, Rouge Pur Couture The Slim saturates lips with ultra-rich, high-pigmented matte color that feels weightless and incredibly comfortable on the lips. The non-drying, creamy formula glides on effortlessly and stays put all day so you don’t ever have to worry about bleeding, cracking or reapplying.
Anthropologie Brass Dish Rack
The prettiest dish rack I ever did see.
Gamewright Rory’s Story Cubes
I just stumbled upon this adorable activity for kids a few days ago; basically, Rory’s Story Cubes is a pocket-sized creative story generator, perfect to help your little ones’ creativity along. Each jumbo 1″ cube has 6 images or icons, with a total of 54 all-different hand-inlaid images that can be mixed in over 10 million ways. You roll all 9 cubes to generate 9 random images and then use these to invent a story that starts with “Once upon a time…” and uses all 9 elements as part of your narrative. How clever is that!? Plus, it’s just $8 on Amazon Prime with free same-day shipping!
West Elm Lenox Swivel Office Chair
So pretty, would make such a great statement in even the smallest office space, and it’s on sale!
H&M Blouse with Eyelet Embroidery
You guys, H&M is killing it with their clothes lately; which is AH-mazing, since they’re pretty budget-friendly! Spring can’t come soon enough.
