Say hello to Dôen; the breezy bohemian brand, with exquisite details and flowing silhouettes, has totally stolen my heart. The contemporary line, which launched just this month, is the brainchild of two sisters and their creative friends, and “stocks casual, bohemian staples inspired by the sisters’ Santa Barbara upbringing. They see the brand as a celebration of motherhood, sisterhood and modern femininity.”
What really caught my eye were the breezy-meets luxe fabrics, like raw silk and cotton voile; the subtle nods to history (like dresses with 1970’s throwback vibes); the little details like hand-knotted fringe hems, tassels, embroidery and blanket stitches; and the lengths of the pieces. I know that last one sounds silly, but hear me out: all of the dresses and tops are designed for real women who move and run and chase babies. Told you I was in love.
