Somehow it’s nearly August, which means it’s about that time to start thinking about back-to-school shopping. Time flies, amiright?
Back to School: The Cutest Kids School Supplies
And because I love online shopping, and I’ve already started the search for all of the cute school supplies for our girls. Also, I’ve got you covered for your own school supply shopping with this list! I’ve rounded up the best back-to-school supplies your kids might need. It includes everything from the basics like the cutest backpacks, pencils, pens, scissors, and pencil cases. I’ve added cute masks, erasable markers, and lunchboxes.
Get Your Kids Involved in Back-to-School Supply Shopping
Each year, as we prepare to send our kids back to school, I love letting them get involved in the school supply shopping. Allowing your kids to help choose their favorite school supplies, a new lunchbox or backpack, cool folders and a pretty pencil case can really help them start to feel excited about the school year ahead.
One of my fondest memories as a kid was going with my siblings and my parents to shop for school supplies. In my case, when it came to choosing my favorite school supplies, the more sparkle, the better! ✨
A Few Back to School Favorites
Our oldest daughter has been using the same Pottery Barn Kids Large Backpack for a few years now. It’s really held up. My only gripe would be that the lighter pink color shows dirt really easily. I’m hoping I can get it clean for the new year. If not, I may invest in a State backpack for her. Friends who have them swear by them. So, I’m all about getting a backpack that can last our kids at least a couple of years.
Our youngest has the Fjallraven Kanken Backpack. I like how easy that one is to wash. (You can see both the Pottery Barn Kids Large Backpack and the Fjallraven Kanken Backpack on our girls in this post.)
Also, let’s not forget lunchboxes. Voth girls have used a combination of Bentgo lunch boxes and the Pottery Barn Kids Bento Boxes. These are both fit in the Pottery Barn Kids lunch bag.
As for water bottles, the Simple Modern 14 oz Summit Kids Water Bottles are our go-to. They don’t leak. Also, it keeps the kids drinks cold all day, and clean well. I prefer this unlike so many kids cups.
