With the warmer months back in full swing, I reignite my love for an easy, ready-to-wear dress; the shift dress is no exception … and might be the very best of the best. The shift dress is one of the easiest silhouettes to wear; it’s generally cut straight from the shoulders down (sometimes flowing away from the hip area). It’s loose shape and shorter hem makes it an adorable summer option. Some shift dresses are more casual, perfect for throwing on with an adorable pair of sandals and a relaxed denim jacket, and others are dressier – great for events, date night, cocktail parties, you name it.
