I look forward to Awards season every year. It’s the red carpet fashion I tell you; I can’t get enough. Typically, my mom, sister and I get together to watch the Awards shows … actually my dad or hubby records them, and we watch the show about five minutes behind so that we can fast-forward through the talking and get to the good stuff … the celebrities, the dresses, the awards. I love the idea of throwing a Red Carpet viewing party as more of an event, complete with decor, snacks, and champagne, so when Skinny Cow® Candy asked me to dream up my very own at-home Red Carpet viewing party, I knew just what I would put together.
Kate Spade Photo Prop Set // Gold Dot Cocktail Napkins // Kate Spade Two Of A Kind Bar Set // Ban.do Girl Talk Headband // Kate Spade Gold Confetti Coasters // Paperless Post Lights, Camera, Party Invitation // Cocktails Lucite Tray // Gold Glitter Star Garland // Skinny Cow® Divine Filled Chocolates // ban.do Giant Gem Speaker // Rosanna Luxe Moderne Flutes
Awards season is all about indulging – the fashion, the celebrity stories and of course the parties. For my own Red Carpet viewing party, it’s all about the at-home glam: gold stars, confetti, bubbly, and of course, no Red Carpet party is complete without the ultimate indulgence, chocolate.
Make this one about the girls. Go for vibrant colors (ahem, think pink) and lots of metallics. Throw in some sparkle, confetti, and a disco ball, and you’ve got yourself one awesome Red Carpet girls’ night. (via Nook Mag)

These Skinny Cow® Divine Filled Chocolates are just as decadent as they sound. The velvety chocolate, combined with luscious caramel are definitely Red Carpet worthy … and so unbelievably good.

Do you have any special traditions for watching the Red Carpet and Awards shows?
What do I love most about awards season? It’s all about indulging – from fashion, movies or celebrity news to scrumptious eats. This season, I’m giving the award for ‘Most Indulgent Candy’ to Skinny Cow® Chocolate Candies. OMG – yum! Make the most of your awards season, indulge and find happiness in every bite.
