This weekend I’ll be running all over South Beach to make it to as many Miami Beach Fashion Week SWIM events as I possibly can.  Here’s to hoping I don’t melt, or worse, that my hair turns into a Miami Summer frizz ball.  I love Miami, by the way.  Love living here, love the people, love the food and culture, but truth: none of us step outside our homes from July through September, unless we’re in a bikini (and headed for the beach) or it’s Miami SWIM.  It’s just that hot.

So here’s to hoping my hair, makeup, and flowy maxi dresses survive the weekend.  (By the way, My sister and her amazingly talented bff, Rachel, will be attempting to put my hair up in a crazy braided design first thing tomorrow morning.  All braided updo suggestions welcome!)  And be sure to follow along on twitter and instagram!
