Target Fashion Show: The Embellished Trend

Next up in my series of posts recapping Target‘s fashion show held during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week a few weeks back (by the way, get caught up on my posts about the Bold Lip and the Tailored trend), I wanted to share one of my favorite trends from the show: the embellished look.  From studs, to quilted {faux} leather details, to layered strands of chained statements necklaces, to spikes and grommets and metallic details, the embellished trend has always been one of my favorites, and Target is doing it oh-so well right now.

During the Target Fashion Show in early September, Target shared a glimpse into their entire Fall collection, and so many of the details were full of unique embellishments and little touches that made classics even more on-trend, and covet-worthy.  An adorable camp jacket was paired with a great pair of skinny jeans, embellished snakeskin pumps, and layers of statement jewelry (think tangles of chunky necklaces and a wrist full of metallic bangles).  And by the way, in that second shot, the model is wearing the Mossimo® Vernie Pump – – the entire back of the heel is studded in gold – so chic.  And in the third photo, the model is wearing the Mossimo® Pamela Pointed Toe Pump in snakeskin, easily one of my favorite pumps from the show (and trust me, there were some very good booties … but the silver embellished detail at the front of the heel on these is just too good).
