As you may have seen on various social media outlets in the last day or so, I am so excited to share the very big project I have been working on: a home tour and “behind the blog” double feature with one of my absolute favorite sites, Style Me Pretty Living. You cannot imagine how happy this makes me, and I truly hope you all love the features. I’m going to share a few of my favorite shots here, but definitely head on over to Style Me Pretty Living for the full features. (And of course, sending so many thanks to Jeremy Harwell for the incredible photography, the stylist extraordinaire Jenn Wurtzebach of The Chic Pad, and my ever-supportive hubby and sister who helped beyond measure.)
But first, a bit of background …
I’m not going to lie, when Style Me Pretty reached out asking whether I would be interested in some kind of home tour, I panicked. Hubby and I live in a pretty small space, and we’ve lived with the idea that we’re moving for the next many years for his inevitable residency, i.e., we’re surrounded by a crazy mix of hand-me-downs, inexpensive vintage finds, and DIY projects. (I was also about seven months pregnant at the time of this photoshoot, adding to the panic.) I love our little space, and it’s so very us, but I never ever thought it was truly worthy of a “home feature” on any major publication, let alone, one of the biggest: Style Me Pretty. Still, I wasn’t about to pass up such an incredible opportunity, so with help from a few of my favorites, and just a bit of crazy, we pulled it off. I hope you like!

SMP is a gorgeous wedding resource devoted to the modern bride, and with over 16.5 million monthly page views, it is also one of the largest online wedding sites out there; and SMP Living is a full lifestyle off-shoot of the incredibly popular brand. SMP Living has also become one of my favorite go-to resources for all things lifestyle and home (think recipes, DIY projects, behind the scenes interviews with some of my favorite business creatives, and gorgeous design).
