Now that I’ve had a chance to play with all of my new makeup swag, post visit to Rimmel London Headquarters, I thought I’d share with you a few of my standout Rimmel favorites!
Let’s start with Rimmel’s Show Off Lip Lacquers (the UK equivalent is called Apocalips and they can’t keep this stuff on the shelves). I’ve mentioned these amazing lip lacquers before, but they are just that good. They could be YSL Vernis À Lèvres Glossy Stain‘s twin. A creamy, opaque, long-lasting lip color (a.k.a., glossy lipstick in a bottle) and they come in 14 gorgeous shades, each one more fabulous than the next. My favorite shades: Big Bang and Stellar. Run, don’t walk, and get yourself a handful of these.
Rimmel London Salon Pro nail polishes last and last … and last. And the 10 shades crated by Kate Moss are edgy cool and full of color. My favorite shades: Rhythm and Blues, Classical Red and New Romantic. And by the way, Rimmel London 60 Seconds Nail Polishes really do dry unbelievably quickly (and those come in 42 shades!)
Rimmel London ScandalEyes Lycra Flex Mascara is my new mascara of choice. It doesn’t leave my side. The Lycra Flex formula offers up flexible, buildable volume without clumping or looking stiff or brittle. This is especially awesome if you want to build up your mascara for a night out – the formula allows them to look full and voluptuous while staying soft. Such a win.
Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation with SPF – I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: get yourself a foundation with SPF in it. And this foundation is affordable, light-weight, lasts all day, and smells so good.
Rimmel London Match Perfection2-in-1 Concealer & Highlighter is the perfect under eye area miracle-worker. Discoloration, blemishes and under eye darkness are hidden in an instant and skin appears visibly illuminated.
Rimmel London Fix & Perfect Pro Primer — I’ve always wanted to use a primer under my makeup, especially for long days when I really need my makeup to stay put and this primer smoothes, protects, and mattifies.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick by Kate Moss — This lipstick is inexpensive and awesome. It has a velvety matte finish and comes in ten gorgeous shades. The shades are also a lot of fun to layer and mix, so be sure to snatch up more than one.
