Last weekend our little family went on a 12-hour Summer adventure to explore Raleigh thanks to Caribou Coffee and their new Crafted Press. We kicked off our morning with Crafted Press iced coffee and scones at Caribou Coffee (side note: the scones and mini donut muffins at Caribou Coffee are crazy good as well), made a quick trip to an outdoor vintage mart in Raleigh – The Vintage Village, and then made our way to Downtown Raleigh to check out the Urban Vintage Market.
I can’t get over how great the vintage shopping is here in North Carolina. Every weekend I’m exploring new antique markets, thrift stores, and weekend fairs full of great vintage. And lucky for us, Scarlett is enamored with the outdoors and is happy to play along provided she gets plenty of snacks. (Same goes for hubby.) The Urban Vintage Market was in town just for the weekend; it was small as far as vintage markets go, but stocked full of a well-curated selection of great vintage and restored vintage. The Vintage Village was much bigger, seems to be open most days of the week, and had some amazing home items – great furniture, stacks of vintage doors and ladders ready for all sorts of great repurposing, and so much more.
By the way, Caribou Coffee’s Crafted Press was the perfect fuel for our summer adventure. I’m such a fan of crafted press iced coffee. Caribou Coffee created their new Crafted Press with bold coffee to keep you awake and a touch of sweetness to keep you refreshed. Caribou Coffee takes 12 hours to cold steep their coffee which made them wonder, “What motivates you for 12 hours?” Thus our little #12hrAdventure.
We also fell into the cutest boutique in Dowtown Raleigh, Dogwood Collective, an adorably curated selection of clothing, great jewelry and accessories.
You can sign up for Caribou Perks from the mobile app and earn Perks towards free coffee; and if you’d like to try a Crafted Press on Caribou Coffee, you can fill out this quick survey and receive one complimentary medium beverage!
