How to Wear White After Labor Day

Though I won’t be sad to see the hotter temperatures disappear as Summer is officially winding down (or at least in the case of Miami, dropping maybe five degrees), I will miss all of the crisp white shades in fashion and design. I tend to stick to monochromatic colors: black and white will forever be my go-tos (with pops of color and metallic here and there). And after getting plenty of inspiration from Crystalin’s Summer guest post all about wearing Summer whites, I’m certain I can’t let white go. Who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day?

A few tips for wearing white well into Fall (and Winter):

Pair whites with classic neutrals, like camel, grey, and black for a sophisticated fall look.
Look for creamier “Winter” whites, rather than overly bright whites. (There is a difference!)
Shop for soft white fabrics – think sweaters, soft cotton, and lace.
Pairing black and white is always a good idea.
