You may have gotten a glimpse into my little office space on the Style Me Pretty Living Home Tour and Behind the Blog last year. Since then, I’ve added a few fun little updates, and then Career Contessa reached out asking if I would be interested in doing an interview about my career story for their site. I jumped at the chance.
Career Contessa has been one of my favorites for some time now. Career Contessa’s mission is to create an online platform that guides career-driven women to effective changes in their occupation. The site goes beyond resume tips by showcasing the careers of successful women, and I was thrilled that they considered me one of them. You can read my full interview here all about how I balance my part-time job as a lawyer with my part-time job as a blogger (plus, the new full-time mom gig!)
Our fabulous photographer, Diana Zapata took so many great photos of my little office space, so I thought I would share all of them here (with shopping details at the end, of course!) Hope you like.

I read the full article on the Career Contessa and needed to come back here to comment. Everything you said about being a young lawyer and confused about your path is something I think about every day. I started a blog for many of the same reasons and hearing how you did it all has been in inspiration! Keep on keeping on! – Bonnie

Love your home office! It’s so bright and inviting. I redecorated my home office a few months back and also incorporated a skull from Z Gallerie. Great accessories!

I absolutely love your space! All the trinkets and decor are so beautiful. I think my favorite piece are the pig bookends.

There are days I feel that being a lawyer was the wrong choice and then there are days when I feel that it is what I am meant to do. Life is kind of crazy like that! I started my blog when I was waiting for my bar results. I needed something fun to do after months and months of stress! Congrats on the interview. I appreciate your honesty!
