Banana Republic just keeps on getting better and better! The brand is currently undergoing a huge shift in style (geared towards the modern woman) thanks to new creative director Marissa Webb; and soon enough, Banana Republic will start dressing stylish babies as well. I for one, cannot wait. I mean, who doesn’t love J.Crew Baby?
Webb on her decision to launch the brand’s very first baby collection, Banana Republic Mini: “I began to notice that many of my friends are expecting, and I want to give them a very personal gift.”
For now, Banana Republic will be offering a limited-edition, 13-piece capsule collection — which is set to debut online on February 25th. The line-up features clothes and accessories for babies, newborn to 12 months, and prices will range from $24 to $198 (for a 100-percent cashmere blanket.
According to Webb: “With pieces that are not only fashionable, but also cozy for playtime, you’ll want them in your own size!”
Does the skull cashmere blankie come in grown-up size? I’m all over it.
