Girls Night: Sparkling Margaritas

I’m on this themed party kick. I can’t get enough. When I plan a party, from the menus to the decor, I want each and every detail to fit that look. And a signature cocktail? Well, that’s just the icing on the cake! And for a summer girls’ night, I’ll definitely be serving Sauza® Sparkling Margaritas! The ready-made Sauza® Sparkling Margarita begins with a Sauza® Silver Tequila base, enhanced with Triple Sec, bubbles and yummy flavors. All you have to do is chill (or add ice), open and pour margaritas perfect for a Summer party. To give the Margaritas that “signature cocktail” look, I would probably muddle fresh berries into the mix and shake with ice in a cocktail shaker because everyone perks up at the sound of a freshly-shaken cocktail. I went with the Wild Berry flavor – sweet and tart with hints of cherry and berries and oh-so-good (and by the way, there are three Sparkling Margarita flavors available, including Original Lime, Mango Peach, and Wild Berry.)

I’m also totally smitten with these C. Wonder gold chevron highball glasses, and if I’m going to have a glamorous girls night, I’m clearly going to need those glasses filled with sparkling margaritas … plus a party decor to go with it.

To get the party going, I’d serve up these sparkling margaritas, and a Mexican-inspired dinner with a healthier spin. I’m dreaming up a watermelon, feta and mint salad to start, blackened salmon tacos with roasted corn salsa and cilantro-lime aioli with homemade flour tortillas, and roasted cauliflower.

And because if you can’t splurge on dessert, when can you; for dessert I’d love to serve a warm peach and cinnamon cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream on top – yum.

And now it seems this girls night in celebration is a definite Summer must!
