Confessions of a Shopaholic: Birthday Edition

Today is my birthday; my very first as a mama. Crazy, how time flies! Though we’re keeping the celebrating low key, a girl can dream about pretty shiny new things. And these are a few of my favorites …

Not so subliminal message: hubby, meet my wishlist. Wink, wink.

I’m a bit bag-crazy right now, and a smaller, light-weight, go-anywhere bag is at the top of my wishlist (this may have something to do with the massive diaper bag and baby I’ve newly acquired). Craving the Gucci Disco Bag, the Chloé Marcie Crossbody, and the Clare V. Supreme Haircalf Mini Sac in Leopard.

And on the baby note, a dressed up headband to keep my hair out of my face, and baby’s girl’s reach, is a winner in my book.

The cream-colored Prada Cat’s-Eye Sunglasses are just so darned cool.

Chanel makes my absolute favorite nail polish colors, and I suspect I’ll be doing many at-home manicures in my future.

As for jewelry, an edgy arrowhead necklace and stacks of Catbird rings are high on my list.

Though we’ll probably spend this birthday on the sofa with take-out sushi and a roster of chick flicks, a girl can dream of a great party dress … loving this Parker Michelle Bead-Embellished Ruched Cocktail Dress.

Because I’m obsessed with my tech, my iPhone deserves a new outfit too.

And last but not least, the oh-so gorgeous Valentino Rockstuds … flats, because you know, I’m trying to be practical here.

Oh, and not to be forgotten, the Moroccan Wedding Blanket … I’ve pretty much wanted one of these for a good two years now.
