With a new year, and just after the explosion of festive decoration for the holidays finally comes down, I always find myself gravitating towards more neutral, calming home décor. I’ve always liked changing out and tweaking my home décor with each new season, and easing into winter, post holidays, is one of my favorite transitions. I love reinventing our space with a more neutral palette, cozying up our most lived in areas, switching out candles for warmer scents, adding fresh pieces to make the rooms feel new for the year ahead, etc.
I also try to keep these seasonal home updates budget-friendly – especially after the holidays, so this year, I’ve taken my search to one of my favorite online treasure troves: Amazon. Did you know that there are some really gorgeous home décor finds on Amazon? They actually have an entire curated home section. Seriously – once you fall down the rabbit hole of home design on Amazon, you’ll quickly realize that you could basically turn your house into a chic oasis any design guru would love, all from Amazon; a.k.a., my happy place.
You can find really stunning kitchen and bathroom hardware, quality furniture, awesome faux plants (because raising real, live plants is way harder than it looks!), modern lighting, farmhouse inspired accents, bohemian bedding, the best throw blankets (still obsessed with my oversized chunky knit blanket), and so much more. Plus, with Amazon, you’re getting their awesome customer service, great deals, easy returns if something doesn’t fit in your space or look quite like you’d imagined it in a room, and free two-day Amazon Prime shipping. NO. 1: Gold Baroque Wall Mirror. Goodness, I love this ornate gold mirror. It would look stunning above a fireplace or entryway table. It comes in several sizes, so be sure to measure your space first to choose the mirror that’s the best fit. (This longer, more vertical version would also look great in a bathroom, bedroom, or entryway.)
NO. 2: Modern Hand-Woven Stripe Fringe Throw Blanket, 50″ x 60″ in Charcoal. Love the tassel detailing on this cozy throw blanket.

NO. 6: Vanity Light Fixture in Copper with Clear Cylinder. This is sleek, modern design at it’s best, comes in several beautiful metallic finishes, and is under $42.
NO. 7: Large 5 Tier Clear Acrylic and Champagne Gold Cosmetic Makeup Storage Cube Organizer. I love a good makeup organizer, and this one takes the acrylic organizer to a whole new level with a gorgeous champagne gold frame. It also has great reviews! WANT.
NO. 8: Creative Co-op Chateau Distressed White Magnesia Corbel Bookends. Such a chic way to display books. Love the vintage, white-washed French farmhouse feel to these.

NO. 18: 3″ Mini Non-ticking Vintage Classic Analog Alarm Clock with Backlight. How cute is this vintage-inspired clock? And at just $12.99 it would look so cute on a nightstand in a kids room or guest bedroom.
