Ah, shoes. My love for shoes really never ends, and summer is the perfect excuse to snatch up a few new pairs of on-trend summer shoes that work with this heat. Towards the end of every spring and start of summer, I can’t wait to break out my Tory Burch sandals. Easily one of the comfiest and best summer shoes I own, they’re also a breeze to slip on, and go with everything. I have them in camel (“Vintage Vachetta”) and black leather, and I’m seriously considering scooping up a pair in nude (“Makeup”). I’ve also been wearing these Dolce Vita gladiator sandals since last summer, and I’m obsessed with these summer shoes. They’re 33% off at Nordstrom right now, making them a total steal.
A new pair of flip flops or sandals to take to the beach, pool, and on vacation are also usually on my summer shopping list. These bow-topped flip flops are adorable, and I love that between the bow and the gold buckle detail, they pack just a little bit of glamour. For an easy, everyday pair of slides, these Topshop leopard cross strap sandals are amazing and just $45! And my favorite spring Free People booties now come in a summer sandal style; sign me up. I’m also loving all of the espadrilles out there right now. I’ve never been much of a sneaker girl, but the more I’m on my feet, running around, and growing by the minute, the more I’m craving an easy pair of sneakers. These Joie slip on sneakers are cute, get rave reviews, and they come in the prettiest soft blush pink. (They’re also on sale!)
You’ve probably seen this pair of heeled Steve Madden sandals on everyone stylish that you know, and for good reason; these summer shoes are relatively affordable, comfortable for heels, and come in every color and pattern you could possibly want. By the way, if the heel height scares you, this low-heeled version is equally perfect. And let’s not forget that wishlist; if you’re looking to splurge, go for something like a pair of Valentino Rockstud sandals or sleek strappy nude Stuart Weitzman heels you’ll wear and hold on to forever. Clearly I have sandals and slides on the brain; so I’m rounding up the best summer shoes to wear for every occasion.
