I’ve always loved the way tall boots look with a dress in the fall. Truth be told, I love the way tall boots look with a coat, with jeans, with tights … really, just give me all of the tall boots. 😍
Whether it’s a great pair of classic riding boots, an uber chic pair of over-the-knee boots, or perennial knee high boots, tall boots have staying power. In my mind, a great pair of tall boots, especially paired with a dress or coat, channels the 1970s in such a charming way, and I adore the look.
In addition, a pair of boots and tights, or skinny jeans tucked in. Tall boots help to extend the wear of a favorite dress or skirt well into the cold weather seasons ahead. So any excuse to keep on wearing my bohemian dresses is an A+ for me.
And of course, boots undeniably up the “style factor” to any outfit. Ever notice that even a t-shirt and jeans combo is instantly elevated with a sleek pair of tall boots? Yep, tall boots for the win. 👢
