2017 Reader Survey {New Site Coming Soon!}

Whelp, the cat’s out of the bag; for the past several months I have been working with Amanda, the most amazingly talented designer, to bring you a new and improved Glitter, Inc. While the new site is still probably a little more than a month away (#comingsoon), I did want to pop in to do a little new year check-in with you all. So many of you have been with me from the beginning, and many for years now, and some are brand new and I’m thrilled to have you. Can you believe I’ve been blogging for 7 years?! Crazy, right?

As for the new and improved site design, the branding is getting a modern overhaul, the site will be clean and sleek with more of the focus on big, beautiful images, and the functionality of the site is going to get a major upgrade. It’s unbelievable to work behind-the-scenes on such big changes. It really takes an unbelievable amount of work to give a site with this much content new life. (There are more than 3,000 posts on this site!)

One of my favorite parts about blogging, in addition to connecting with you all of course, is how much a blog has room to evolve with it’s writer(s). Over the past year-and-a-half, around the time we made our big move for my hubby’s residency, I started to make subtle changes to the content. I began styling shoots and parties which has been an absolute dream come true, I added bigger and better recipes, home décor and glimpses into our home, beauty, fashion, travel, and lifestyle content, and I hired a professional photographer on a freelance basis to truly help bring my content to life.

I also have big plans for upcoming content, and that’s where you come in! (Plus, read all the way to the end and complete the survey for a chance at winning a $100 gift card to Nordstrom!)

With so much happening behind-the-scenes, and because I trust and value your thoughts, I would love to chat with you all when it comes to planning content for the future. Basically, I want to know what you want! What posts do you love? Are there things you’d like to see more of? Do you wish I posted more about a certain topic? What inspires you and what do you like to read on your favorite blogs? So I’m rolling out a 2017 reader survey and just to say “thank you,” everyone who completes the survey (and provides their email address) will be entered to win a $100 gift card to one of my favorite retailers, Nordstrom! You read that right: all you have to do is fill out my survey, and you’ll have a shot at winning a $100 Nordstrom gift card. Easy peasy!
