The temperatures are finally starting to drop, and I’m stocking up on all of the Spring fashion essentials. I have my eye on so many fun trends this season – some are Spring staples year after year (cute sandals, lace, nautical stripes, denim and chambray), and some are old-but-new-again (block heeled sandals, festival-worthy bohemian pieces, and off-the-shoulder dresses and tops.) I’m also a big fan of pieces that can go from warmer weather to a night-time chill (weather is crazy here in North Carolina, especially in the Spring.) As much as I want to break out the dresses, I find myself reaching for comfy jeans, breezy tops, and a sweater for layering, chic boots, and a hat for good measure.

Lace/Eyelet: Delicate details, feminine dresses and tops; I can’t resist lace.
Denim/Chambray: I never used to be a jeans-wearing kind of girl, but now that I have a little one running around, comfy, flattering jeans, are a favorite. And really, chambray is a denim-meets-Spring match made in heaven.
Block Heels: Heels that you can walk in? Obsessed.
Off-the-Shoulder: I’m slowly stepping into the off-the-shoulder trend and I’m amazed at how flattering the look is. I also love the 70s vibe and loose silhouettes.
Lounge Pants: Yassss. Love, love, love a breezy, comfortable, wear anywhere, lounge pant.
Stripes: Bold nautical stripes will forever ring in Spring. Cute and classic.
Festival: I love the throwback bohemian vibe that the festival trend has going on. Most, if not all, of my spring dresses have that festival feel.
Crossbody Bags: Hands-free is the way to be. Especially a roomy, wearable crossbody bag. Love.
Sunglasses: I can’t get enough. Every season I tell myself I don’t need yet another pair of sunglasses, and yet there they are, calling me from my online shopping cart. I’m looking at you, tort sunnies.
Sandals: Now that we’ve survived our first real Winter, I’m chomping at the bit to throw on a favorite pair of flat sandals. (How cute are these?) Hooray for Spring!
