Winter Travel: What to Pack

After getting back from the first few weeks of residency travel, and poised for several more big trips in the next few weeks and months, I’ve really started to get this Winter packing thing down. When knowing what to pack for winter travel, the only variable is how low the temps will be dropping … I’m a Miami girl through and through, so once we’re looking at thirty degrees and below, I’m packing my thermal underwear; other than that, a down coat is essential, plus clothes that layer well. I’ve also recently fallen in love with fleece-lined tights (love Gap’s Maximum Heat Tights, but I’ve heard amazing things about J.Crew Falke® warm deluxe tights!) Warm tights are a must for me, because I can’t live without my dresses (by the way, how gorgeous are all of these Isabel Marant sleeved dresses?)
