So it’s no secret that I’m a freak for organization. Starting a shiny new planner makes me unbelievably happy. Yes, you heard that right — I actually relish in starting to fill in the blank pages of a brand new agenda. So this past year, when I decided to go fully digital – iPhone, iPad, laptop – check – I thought, this can work – technology is grand … or so they say. But truth be told, I’ve been miserable. And.I.can’t.Stay.Organized. Which is the biggest problem. I can never get all of my techy calendars to sync up, plus I hardly know how to sync to begin with. I’m also scribbling ideas and to-do lists on post-its all-day-long, and it’s a bit tough attaching stickies to my iPhone screen. I miss my agenda …
Thinking of going back to a paper planner. I just can’t get down with the digital. Thoughts?

I STILL buy a paper planner every year! (Usually at Target.) I have an iPhone and sometimes use iCal – but I use my actual planner for EVERYTHING. I can’t go fully digital! I guess it’s the OCD organization nut in me! lol

I’m with you on this. Paper planners are a must have for me! I currently use one from Graphic Image that I carry with me everywhere. I love the Erin Condren planner and the MomAgenda – such a fun print!

I had a Coach planner that I refilled until it was falling apart! And sadly, technology usually manages to go kapoot when I really need it.

Yes, yes! I still use a day planner! I choose one with inspirational quotes throughout it. It helps me to read a few if I’m having a particularly tough day. I spend so much time on the computer that actually jotting something down is a nice change of pace. I then back it up on my iPhone 😉

It seems like so many of us still use paper planners — I love it!

I hear you! To go paper or not is always the great debate. I have an iPhone and iPad as well, but truth be told I carry a notepad to capture my blog ideas. I carry around a calendar that has all of my blog posts for the next few months. I think a mix of digital and paper is a great compromise.
Best,

I have a planner aside from everything online. I just like the fact of writing things down and seeing them whenever I need to remember I need to do something. I’m a kinesthetic learner so writing everything down on my planner will help me remember things. Plus some agendas/planners are so cute and just spice up your office 🙂
Planners/agendas are good!

I know digital is the way of the future but I love the reliability and anti-tech of the paper agenda! I will use paper agendas and notepads forever! I love the ease and convenience of a digital note/reminder but nothing beats the classic 🙂

I’m hoping the digital versions get better, meanwhile, I’m sticking to paper!

I can totally relate! I’m using one now, but tempted to start a new one for the “school year”. 🙂
