With the first month of the new year winding down, I’ve decided to check in with myself about my own resolutions, and survey says: I’m not quite there. So I’ve decided to make small steps towards a healthier, more balanced me. Tuesday, January 29th, 2012 is National Vitamin Day, and I think that marks a great time to get going on my health kick.
We make “getting healthy” this enormous task, tied to resolutions, gym memberships, and high expectations, but every little bit counts, so, starting today, I’m going to try to walk – anywhere, really, and even if only for a few minutes, or swim, or skip, or dance; I’m going to get out in the sunshine more often, and I’m going to take vitamins.
