Madewell’s Spring 2016 Collection

Madewell just released their spring 2016 collection – well, for pre-order that is – but trust me, you are going to be clamoring for every single piece. It’s just so wearable. I have my eye on every single dress in the collection, and surprisingly, I’m not hating the throwback overalls and buttoned-up denim miniskirts.

This also happens to be Madewell‘s first collection under new head designer, Joyce Lee. Building on Madewell’s reputation for great denim, Lee is giving shoppers what she calls “denim outfitting” — cue the new wide-leg shapes with fitted, higher waists; denim skirts and dresses; overalls; jackets. The delicate details and beautiful embroidery and lace-up detailing that pops up on dresses and tops (always my favorite staples at Madewell), was inspired by the designers’ trips to Morocco.

Swoon a little over all of the great pieces for Spring, and then stock up on the cutest new arrivals for Winter (this dress, this city coat, and these leopard loafers.)
