I never leave the house without sunscreen on. Ever. My morning routine includes SPF 30 (at a minimum.) And truth be told, I smell like a baby at the beach … in high heels and a sweater. But my skin is paramount. When L’Oreal and Glam reached out with their latest – a sunscreen and base in one, I thought – that sounds perfect. The BB Cream illuminator is essentially an all-in-one beauty product that combines advanced skincare benefits (even skin tone and SPF protection) with the flawless look of make-up.
The cream is skin-toned, goes on soft, comes out of a pretty silver tube for easy application, and smells a bit like grape seed and sunscreen. My only real complaint: I’m too pasty pale for even the “light” shade, though thankfully the cream rubs in well, and dries nearly invisible.
I’m also fairly certain that this would be the perfect product for a day at the beach – no make-up, just BB cream.

I’ve been wanting to try this one… how’s the texture? I’m a pretty big fan of the Garnier BB cream. Nice coverage, good color. Tried the Dr Jart, and the consistency/texture was a little weird (but then again, I’m pretty picky!)
Not bad – it seems a bit thick but goes on smooth. I really love that it has SPF!

So glad BB cream is happening here, it’s been a major part of beauty routines in Asian countries for EVER now. Trickle down always happens just like sneaker wedges haha.
