Date Night Prep + #BaubleBar Bling

Although I’ve been with hubby for a long long, long time, I still get giddy over date night. (And on the subject of date night, they’re a must for any good relationship.) I also love getting ready, sitting down to take the time on my hair and makeup, picking out just the right dress (typically something cute and black; the LBD is like my dressing safety blanket), and wearing my sparkliest baubles, because, why not? During the week, I wake up, down a cup of coffee, spend exactly fifteen minutes trying to make less of a mess of my hair, putting on the weekday makeup, outfit on and out the door. And I kind of relish in the all-day-pajama-wearing kind of weekend days; so a date night, well that’s kind of a big deal (and an excuse to break out something new to wear!)
