Color Brights with T.J. Maxx

Next up in my Spring Style Scout series for T.J. Maxx we’re talking color brights and neons: vivid bright colors; coral, tropical inspiration; mixing of solids and bold prints and abstract, lightweight fabrics. Admittedly, I tend to shy away from brighter colors. I stick to black, white, and grey for my wardrobe staples, but I do love mixing in bold pops of color and pattern.

The dress, clutch, and heels were all amazing T.J. Maxx finds. This maxi dress, a major designer score, spotted at T.J. Maxx for under $30 (victory dance!) was a bit out-there for me, but I loved the high-low cut of the maxi skirt, the loose fit – perfect for upcoming Spring and Summer vacations and parties, and the mix of color and pattern was just the look I was searching for. I instantly fell for the hot pink color-blocking on the caramel colored clutch, and it has become a favorite night-out bag for me. The nude peep-toe booties are an older T.J. find and definitely one of my favorite pairs of heels to break out in Spring and Summer.

I threw on a bright pink lipstick and a wrist full of neon bracelets for good measure! And of course, I topped off the look with a chic black blazer (my fashion crutch!)
