Did you know Target carries all of your favorite nail polish brands? I always get lost in the Target beauty department, and on this last visit, I spent at least fifteen minutes hoarding Essie nail polish colors … and just in time for Winter! The beauty of nail polish is that you can easily and inexpensively update your wardrobe for every season with just a splash of great color on your fingernails. Last Summer, I wore candy-colored polishes like they were going out of style, in the Fall, I went a little glitter crazy, and on this visit, I had one objective in mind: think Winter. So warm jewel and gem tones it was!
I’m loving my mis-matched jewel- and gem-inspired manicure. I chose Essie‘s sable collar (a metallic purple-grey), good as gold (one of my favorite metallic gold shades), mind your mittens (a blue-ish emerald green), toggle to the top (a glittery blood red), and penny talk (the perfect rose gold).
