10 Favorite Sweater Coats and Coatigans (and Why You’ll Love Them!)

Tis the season for cardigans, sweater coats, and coatigans, and I’m so excited I might burst. I have a soft spot for the granny chic cardigan (this one is perfection!), and eagerly await these cooler temps every year when the weather is just right for my favorite topper. The sweater coat or coatigan is the cardigan’s chic big sister. A sweater coat boasts a bit more structure and design, with just the right amount of cardigan slouch. These sweater jackets, coats, and coatigans are not quite as heavy as a wool or heavier sweater coat, but still amp up an outfit the way a stylish, structured coat would.
