I’ve partnered with Huhtamaki Inc. for the Chinet® brand to create this post! Enjoy!
From festive cocktail parties, to cookie exchanges and classic holiday gatherings, with the holiday season comes so many reasons to celebrate and entertain. When it comes to holiday parties, I try to keep things as stress-free as possible, so that we can all enjoy the festivities. My mom always taught me that it’s about being together, laughing, and making great memories, not on what china you used or whether a proper invitation was sent.
One of my favorite easy entertaining hacks: disposable tableware. My current favorite and go-to for entertaining this holiday season is Chinet® Cut Crystal® tableware. From cups to glasses, plates, and cutlery, all of it is disposable, but still beautiful. The Chinet® Cut Crystal® line makes cleanup easy so you can spend more time with the ones you love. The clear design of the line just makes it so that it matches no matter what your party theme is.
This year, I’m branching out with my holiday entertaining. I’ve wanted to throw a little celebratory picnic since we moved into our new house. Our backyard is just so pretty and the weather here is perfect straight through December since it doesn’t typically start to get too cold until the end of the year.
There’s nothing like a great picnic basket. I’d been hunting for one for ages and finally came across this picnic basket that serves four and has compartments for wine bottles, loaves of french bread, and/or flower bouquets, and I was sold.
I’ll always love a great cheese platter. There are so many fun variations and combinations, and it’s a great meeting place for guests to snack and chat.
I also packed berries, candied roasted almonds and pecans, a loaf of bread, and dinner from our favorite local Mediterranean restaurant. The less hassle, the better.
For dessert, I heated up a rustic apple tarte (from Trader Joe’s!) and sprinkled a bit of powder sugar on top.
Remember: holiday entertaining should be fun and simple!
For the record, TJ’s rustic apple tarte is delicious, and always a crowd-pleaser.
Because we used Chinet® Cut Crystal® clear disposable cups, plates, and cutlery, our picnic party cleanup was a breeze, allowing me to focus more on spending time with friends and family and less on clean up. Such a win.
