I have never been much of a secret-keeper.  That’s not to say that I was ever a big gossip, but I couldn’t wait to tell my mom, my sister, (and at some awkward stage of my youth — my dolls) all of the hot news.  But I’ve been keeping a secret … for about a week now … and it’s been torture!  But today, it’s with a serious smile on my face (which was soooo needed right now*) that I announce: Lucky Magazine has chosen me, the sweater-wearing Type-A organizer with a closet full of leopard print and glitter, along with this sweet little blog, to be a member of the Lucky Style Collective.  Gasp!

I am obviously, so ridiculously excited, over-joyed, and totally beaming over the sweet little successes that Glitter & Pearls has had these last few years of blogging.  Crazy.  I also wanted to say thank you, because Lucky only took notice because you, my fabulous readers, did first.

Sooo, here’s the scoop per Lucky Magazine: We’ve combed the web for months to find our favorite voices from fashion blogs, beauty blogs, style blogs, really—any blogs. Along the way we found some incredible women with so much to share that we couldn’t help but bring them into the Lucky family. So, without further ado, meet the members of Lucky‘s first-ever blogger network. Keep an eye out—they’ll be writing in the pages of Lucky and on our site.

*Yesterday I had one of those Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad days.  My car got broken into, I’m pretty sure I ate half a loaf of bread by myself, I was piled in legal work (i.e., the not fun half of my daily life), I had to have bloodwork (never fun), and so on.
