Maybe it’s that I’ve lived in the sub-tropics most of my life, but I’ve always been in awe of winter-dressing. And February’s fashion week is the pièce de résistance for me. All of the layering, dark colors, bold accessories, and impressive high-heel-meets-icey-ground tight-rope-walking, and I fall a little more in love with the idea of snow every year. (This is vitally important knowing that the hubby and I will be moving – seemingly somewhere cold – in two years time for his residency program … dear match, please be good to us.) Behold, the glamorous cold-weather fashions.
Cold-Weather NYFW Essentials:
I’m with you on this one. Here in Sydney we rarely get cooler than cardigan weather. I would love to rock a fur hat, but it would just be ridiculous on me here. I think that some intercontinental visitation is required.

Oh cold weather – I love the layering but hate the chill! Love these looks so – so perfect 🙂

I couldn’t agree more – great clothes but after about five minutes in the cold I seriously miss Miami!
The great thing about cold weather are the fantastic coats you can justify buying! Thanks for stopping by my blog 🙂
this is the perfect glam for a snowy day in NY. love it all lexi! x
I love these streetstyle shots! I grew up in cold places so I absolutely love snow and winter dressing as well. 🙂 Enjoy your week! /Madison
Sigh…I wish I looked this stylish in the snow!
Ditto! I usually just bundle up in so many layers you can hardly see me!
i seriously need to up my game in the winter. i usually look like the stay puft marshmallow man.
Oh my gosh – I 100% relate (and that is too funny!) I layer until I can’t find skin. 🙂

I’m in Florida too but I LOVE cold weather wear. All of the layers look so cozy and NEMO would have been the perfect opportunity for me to rock a huge (faux) fur!

Only we Florida girls would look at a giant blizzards as a missed opportunity to wear awesome fuax fur!
Argh I wish I had had one of those shearling coats. I mean, I know northerners might be used to the cold but I was NOT. So many great, inspiring looks here. xoo
so true, a little jealous of all of the fun winter attire, but I suppose it might get old to freeze every day for five months?! haha, no idea.
So chic… I wish I looked this amazing in the cold weather! (I so don’t!)
xx

I couldn’t agree more! We don’t get this kind of weather much in NC and I always look for excuses to buy more fab coats…maybe Fashion Week next year is that excuse 😉
stylish cold weather looks are no easy feat! thanks for the inspiration!
