The last time my amazing photographer, Annie, was over, I had one very important request – you know, aside from all of the content we actually HAD to shoot – “Can you pretty please take a picture of Emme’s thighs??” You guys, I am THAT mom. Baby rolls, baby chub, it’s just so darned good. Scarlett was the teensiest baby, so to have a squishy baby of my own, I cannot even. So yes, at least for the inevitable future, I will be photographing all of Emmeline’s chub, including close-ups of baby thighs (and these adorable over-the-knee socks that actually stay ON new babies!), because, why not?
As for weekend plans, we have a busy one! Hoping to get to a museum on Saturday, dinner with friends on Saturday night, Sunday is the Purim carnival (Hoping I can convince Scarlett to wear her costume one more time this week! Did you catch her twirls on Insta Stories earlier this week?), and then of course, I have to get ready for the week ahead … more styled shoots on the way! Did you see our Easter party!? I’ll be sharing what we’re up to throughout the weekend over on instagram (lots of fun behind-the-scenes on my insta stories too!), facebook, and twitter. Follow along! How about you? Any exciting weekend plans?
With that, a few little love notes to the things I loved most this week …
Dear fellow book nerds, if literature’s “complicated men” were on Tinder.
Dear having it all, arguably the most honest thing ever written about “work-life balance”
Dear star gazing, what being a seat filler at the Academy Awards is really like.
Dear lunch hacks, sandwich secrets from chefs.
Dear office goals, this “she shed” home office has it all.
Dear short on time, the 7-minute workout that hits every muscle.
Dear weekend baking, salted milk chocolate and peanut butter blondies.
