Little Love Notes

A few little love notes to the things I loved most this week, including this DIY wood bead chandelier, tiny heart stud earrings, and tahini chocolate chip cookies. | glitterinc.com | @glitterinc

Is anyone else blown away by the fact that this weekend marks the very last weekend of Summer? It’s all kind of confusing because school started back up a couple of weeks ago, but still, actual FALL is just days away. (So is sweater weather!) We’ve had a busy week, with family from Miami in town, and I’ve loved every second of it. This weekend things should be mostly back to normal; that is, until this baby decides to make her arrival, and then everything will get turned all upside down (in the best sort of way possible.) I’ll be sharing what we’re up to throughout the weekend over on instagram (lots of fun behind-the-scenes on my insta stories too!), facebook, and twitter. Follow along! How about you? Any exciting weekend plans?

With that, a few little love notes to the things I loved most this week …

Dear DIYs to try, this DIY wood bead chandelier is the perfect summer sendoff, and also happens to look like a pretty perfect copy of a rather pricey Pottery Barn chandelier version seen in design magazines and blogs everywhere.

Dear weekend giggles, BBC ranked the 100 greatest comedies of all time, and plenty of these need to go on your lazy weekend watch list.

Dear flashback fame, really beautiful unpublished photos from Marilyn Monroe’s last photoshoot.

Dear tired mamas, 9 things to say to diffuse a toddler meltdown with compassion.

Dear simple bauble lovers, these tiny gold classic heart stud earrings are darling.

Dear benefits of sleep, if you have relationship problems, try getting more shut-eye.

Dear weekend baking, tahini chocolate chip cookies. (If you love sesame seeds, odds are, you’ll LOVE tahini.)
