Happy weekend! You may have caught my whirlwind shopping trip to Nordstrom yesterday over on Snapchat; I had so much fun sharing a closer look at my favorite Early Access sale picks. (You can also see all of my #NSale favorites here.) This weekend we’ve got home improvement projects in the works – we’re painting nearly the entire house (ooph!) and I’m working on convincing hubby that we need a DIY sliding barn door, plus at least one more trip to Nordstrom with the family (I can’t help myself!) I’ll be sharing a look at what we’re up to throughout the weekend over on instagram, facebook, twitter, and snapchat → glitterinclexi (lots of fun behind-the-scenes there). Follow along!
How about you? Any exciting weekend plans?
With that, a few little love notes …
Dear food lovers, the best food truck in EVERY state in America.
Dear everyone, Emma Stone and Maya Rudolph perform a stripped down cover of ‘Call Your Girlfriend’ with butter tubs. (And it’s just as great as you’d imagine it to be.)
Dear summer movie plans, have you seen the trailer for John Krasinski’s new dramedy The Hollars yet? It looks so good.
Dear graduates, the best advice from this year’s commencement speeches.
Dear carb fanatics, it’s time to celebrate (and make rice!); scientists have found a cooking hack for rice that may reduce the number of calories your body takes in by 50 to 60 percent. Whaaaa? Now if only they could figure out how to make that work for ALL carbs.
Dear well-deserved cocktail, how to make a rosé slushie.
Dear living room pick-me-up, this Moroccan wedding blanket inspired fringe pillow at the #NSale is adorable and under $20
Dear wanderlust, you can see 10 acres of Monarch butterflies on this Mexican mountain; and it’s incredible.
Dear grocery store flowers, I’m coming for ya. Definitely have to try this rainbow of flowers (it makes for the prettiest arrangement.)
Dear National Ice Cream Day, psst … it’s Sunday – celebrate with confetti cookie cup sundaes. (Because all ice cream deserves a sprinkle cookie bowl!)
