I’ll always swoon a bit at talk of France. I’ve only been to Paris, but the romance of that city alone captures me every time. That’s why it was easy to fall in love with this beautiful 19th-century apartment, located in the historic centre of Bordeaux, France. The great use of color, spectacular windows along every wall, herringbone wood floors, and all of that decorative molding (I really, really like molding in design.)

What a beautiful place. I love Bordeaux so much. Last year we rent an apartment in an old town, it had floor to celling windows, wooden floors and was enormous. Paris flats would be similar but generally much smaller 🙂
