Sometimes, I fall down the rabbit hole of home tours, and when I find one that I truly can’t take my eyes off of, I race right over here to share it with you all. And this one – this stunning family home in the heart of Amsterdam (located opposite the entrance to the famous Vondelpark in the centre of Amsterdam) – is actually for sale. In Amsterdam! How cool is that?
At just over 2500 square feet, this three-level townhome, built in 1873, is stacked high with character and history; from high ceilings, towering floor-to-ceiling windows that let all of that good light in, a huge open-plan design, to ornamental details in the ceilings and walls, marble staircase and fireplace, paneled walls, and a southeast-facing balcony with views to the Vondel Church. As if the incredible location and stunning family home details aren’t enough, who wouldn’t want their home decorated by this brilliant family? Clearly, they’ve got style for days and know just how to mix old and new with that class Dutch style everyone in the design world has come to love.
Love all of the cozy nooks and kid-friendly spaces throughout this family home.
How cute is that bear paper storage bag?
Any favorite details of the home? Thinking about moving to Amsterdam now? 😉
