Little Love Notes

A few little love notes to the things I loved most this week, including these Bohemian Wild Flowers and Branches.

It’s beginning to feel a lot like fall and I am loving it. This weekend we have BIG plans because it’s time for the NC State Fair! I’m kind of geeking out over here. If you’re in North Carolina, check out last year’s (kid-friendly) guide to the state fair. The NC State Fair is basically just one giant fried food eat-a-thon, but the fairgrounds are so ginormous, and there’s so much ground to cover, I count that as a wash. Sunday, we’re going pumpkin hunting and I’m finishing up the last of our Halloween decorations.

I’ll be sharing what we’re up to throughout the weekend over on instagramfacebooktwitter, and snapchat → glitterinclexi (lots of fun behind-the-scenes there). Follow along!

How about you? Any exciting weekend plans?

With that, a few little love notes …

Dear beauty hacks, how to do that enviable crown braid everyone’s wearing right now.

Dear movie buffs, did you know this fun fact about voice doubles?

Dear girl moms, want to raise a trail-blazing daughter? ‘The Notorious RBG’ says do these 7 things.

Dear weekend wardrobe, have you tried Ann Taylor’s Ponte Skinny Ankle Pants? The legging-skinny-pant hybrid are said to be the most flattering and comfortable leggings on the market … and their 30% off right now. I may just go for it!

Dear Instagram crushing, @natashalawyer‘s minimalist vibes are perfection.

Dear Francophiles, how to decorate like a Parisian, according to the dreamiest French hotels.

Dear wanderlust, now that I have Paris on the brain, you have to see this secret tiny roof garden with an Eiffel Tower view.

Dear weekend baking, chocolate cream cheese pound cake with chocolate royal icing. (OMG, how good does this look?)

Don’t forget Shopbop‘s Event of the Season Sale (a.k.a., you can get up to 30% off sitewide!) ends tonight, 10/14. These are my fall and winter must-haves!

Get the origins of these sweet little love notes, here, and catch up on love notes of the past.
