Little Love Notes

DIY Summer Bracelets

Hello, weekend! Hubby is off on Saturday and we’re headed outside. We’ve got big plans to check out the Durham Farmer’s Market and then we’re off to do a little junkin’ (a.k.a., vintage and thrift-shop raiding.) I’ll probably buy all of the teacups because I just can’t help myself. I have this thing with teacups. Hoping to convince hubby that we clearly need to grab dinner out and about in Durham Saturday night, because now that we’re in a new city, I want to try ALL of the food. (Scarlett concurs.) Sunday we’ll mostly be staying in so I can get ahead of the week’s blog work while hubby is back at the hospital (fun stuff, I know!) I’ll be sharing what we’re up to throughout the weekend over on instagramfacebooktwitter, and snapchat → glitterinclexi (lots of fun behind-the-scenes there). Follow along!

How about you? Any exciting weekend plans?

With that, a few little love notes …

Dear kids at heart, have you heard about #hotdogprincess? Though I’ll always have a soft spot for Disney Princesses, this little girl is a rockstar in my book.

Dear party people, these pineapple party plates are blowing my mind right now.

Dear fellow foodies, you can now rent Julia Child’s Provence cottage on Airbnb. (Well that’s just crazy cool.)

Dear sleeping woes, try these twelve things Ariana Huffington wants you to do before bed.

Dear movie lovers, the prettiest color palettes inspired by famous movies.

Dear DIY’s to try, the cutest summer braided bracelets.

Dear tech gurus, a rare tour of the most impressive tech company headquarters.

Dear summer must-haves, this adorable cover-up keeps selling out, and for good reason. Perfect over a bathing suit, as a dress, or worn as a tunic over jeans. I dig it.

Dear weekend baking, chocolate donuts topped with toasted marshmallows. (Because Friday is #NationalDonutDay after all!)

Get the origins of these sweet little love notes, here, and catch up on love notes of the past.
