Actress Uma Thurman’s Manhattan apartment (a sort of “duplex” created by combining two apartments in the building) has been listed on StreetEasy, giving us a rare glimpse into her stunning home. And even if potential buyers aren’t wowed by the stunning apartment itself, it has perhaps one of the most coveted apartment features for New Yorkers: a key to the private Gramercy Park.
The apartment, built in 1910, wraps around two corners of the building and the interior was redesigned by architect Paul Scott specially for Uma. There’s a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, a tin ceiling in the kitchen, original herringbone oak floors (swoon!), and ten-foot ceilings throughout the residence. On the main floor there’s a renovated modern kitchen with a walnut counter, eat-in breakfast bar, and copper sink, a large dining room with a terrace overlooking the park, a master suite bedroom and second master, plus three more bedrooms, there’s even a gorgeous tiled Turkish steam bath.
The apartment boasts two master bedrooms (in case one just isn’t enough.)
And the bathrooms include a Turkish steam bath featuring a sleek marble slab bench.
