Little Love Notes

coffee glasses books - weekend morning

How crazy is this weather? One minute we’re dropping to the thirties, the next it’s in the seventies and it’s like the entire city is flocking outside in droves. And can we talk about the snow-filled instagram and snapchats? That just confuses me more! It’s winter? Chill out, El Niño.

Anyhoo, hubby has this weekend off (unlike next weekend, just before our big family trip … yikes!), so we’re getting organized and starting to pack. We also have presents left to make and wrap, and a fun dinner with new friends on Saturday night, and I have a bit of blog work to catch up on. As always, I’ll be sharing fun peeks on instagramfacebooktwitter, snapchat → glitterinclexi (my newest social media obsession) throughout the weekend. How about you? Any exciting weekend plans?

With that, a few little love notes …

Dear ladies, take a few minutes and read this note on aging.

Dear awe-inspiring, clouds underwater.

Dear hostess with the mostest (to do, that is), here’s how to fake a clean house.

Dear no-time-for-manicures, the most perfect nude polish palette I ever did see (a.k.a., the colors that let you get away with chips. Rejoice!)

Dear on my reading list, After You, the sequel to the incredibly popular Me Before You.

Dear last-minute gift givers, skip the store and make them something special (and sweet!): 30 homemade holiday gift recipes.

Dear holiday cheer, grab a tissue and watch these kids choose between presents for themselves or their families. Kids are awesome.

Dear weekend bakingcinnamon roll buttermilk biscuits (because, why not?)

Get the origins of these sweet little love notes, here, and catch up on love notes of the past.

Loved the aging article, a perspective I had never even considered. Happy holidays and safe travels Lexi!
