Goodbye summer, Hello fall! (Well, almost.) Summer’s fun and all, but goodness, I love fall. Cozy scarves, pumpkin patches, boots, pie … what’s not to love? (And this year, for the first time ever, we’re getting our first real fall … though admittedly, I’ll miss my palm trees and midi dresses). Labor Day marks both the end of summer and the beginning of fall, so in honor of that, I thought I’d share my favorite go-to summer beauty look one last time and experiment with a classic fall look you’re going to want to try (ahem, this eye shadow palette will be your new BFF.) The transition between seasons is after all, the perfect time to refresh beauty routines for the changing trends, weather and occasions.
Pixi LipLift Max in Petal Ice – A perfect moisturizing gloss with a creamy nude/translucent hue, LipLift acts as a lip treatment and perfect glossy lip.
Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Pixi Pink – I actually used this lip balm as a cheek tint/blush; it’s the perfect shade of pinky blush and stays on straight through the day.
Pixi Eye Bright Primer – Once you use eye makeup primer/base, you’ll never go back. This eye shade base ensures long-lasting, no crease, smooth eye makeup; the light reflecting formula evens out skin tone and brightens tired eyes; it feels feather light on skin and helps neutralize oily eyelids; and optical pigments are added to diffuse and fill in fine lines and add a sculpted air-brushed finish. How’s that for primer?
Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Palette in Rich Gold – I love love love this palette. The colors go on rich and layer well; they also last and last and can be used for a variety of looks. The Rich Gold palette has the most versatile, yet standard, day-to-night looks from lasting mattes to semi-shimmers. For my summer look, I kept it light and bright, topped with a touch of black eyeliner on my eyelids.
Pixi Crayon Combo Eye Shadow Pencil in Almost Black and Wide Awake – I have a feeling these eye shadow pencils will be getting the most love from me. I’m actually not sure which I adore more: the pencil in Almost Black or in Wide Awake. Almost Black is the perfect pencil to layer from a black lined eye to a bold smoky eye, while the Wide Awake pencil lightens and brightens effortlessly.

Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Pixi Pink – I used this lip balm both on my lips and as a cheek tint/blush. This super-nourishing balm is lightweight and gives a gorgeous wash of color to lips (and cheeks) – it’s the perfect pick-me-up anytime! It’s also packed full of beneficial ingredients, like Shea butter and Vitamin E, that soothe and nourish your lips long term.
Pixi Eye Bright Primer – See above, and get your hands on this primer.
Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Palette in Rich Gold – For a fall look, I started with the lighter brighter matte coat, and then built up my smoky eye color using the grey, brown, maroon, and black.
Pixi Crayon Combo Eye Shadow Pencil in Almost Black and Wide Awake – I built up my smoky eye with the pencil in Almost Black and used small smudges of Wide Awake at the inside corners of my eyes to keep my eyes bright.
